Yeah, it was! It's probably one of my favourite movies ever.......

Speaking of Serenity, my download of Firefly is only at 34.3%..... after leaving my computer on at night and during school for like six days...... (was it six?) So fucking slow....... :(

I'm a movie geek...... haha. Actually, the term 'aficionado' is preferred, but whatever. :D I have an album of DVDs I collected. It's not all the movies I've watched, but it's probably an accurate crosssection of my tastes.

Here's my DVD list (in order):
--V For Vendetta
--Batman Begins
--The Hulk
--X-men
--Spiderman I & II
--Death Note (Japanese)
--Hitler: The Rise of Evil ------------> my favourite movie of all time
--Downfall (German)
--Hiroshima
--The Pianist
--Enemy At The Gates
--JFK
--Munich
--Catch Me If You Can
--Infernal Affairs (Cantonese) ----------------> favourite cop/mob movie
--Ocean's Eleven
--Mr. and Mrs. Smith
--The Interpreter
--Shattered Glass
--Kill Bill Volumes I & II
--Resident Evil: Apocalypse
--Jurassic Park I, II & III
--Predator I & II
--Cry_Wolf
--Final Destination III
--The Mothman Prophecies
--The Final Cut
--Serenity -----------------------------> second most favourite sci-fi movie
--Deep Impact
--Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
--Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
--Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
--Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
--Star Wars Episdoe V: The Empire Strikes Back
--Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
--Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring
--Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
--Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
--Troy ------------------------> favourite swords n' sandals movie
--Bruce Almighty & I, Me and Irene
--The Truman Show & Liar Liar
--Monty Python and the Holy Grail ------------------> best comedy. Ever.
--The Life of Brian
--Monty Python and the Meaning of Life
--Toy Story I & II
--8 Mile ---------------------> favourite sports movie
--Julius Caesar
--The Last Emperor

Well....... that's about it, I think.

My friend is just like you, he's a movie geek big time.

Anyways I really liked the movie Little Miss Sunshine, it's really funny.
Another good is The God's Must be Crazy, basically a man from a tribe in Africa finds a discarded Pepsi bottle. He doesn't know what it is so he takes it to his tribe and soon everyone is fighting for it. He decides it is an evil thing and takes it upon himself to throw it over the edge of the world. There begins his really funny journey. It's hilarious, especially when all the comedic scenes are all in fast forward which makes it even funnier.

Yeah! I love that movie...... the sequels were not so good though. The first movie was the best. It's funny almost from start to end, but even manages to be insightful at the same time. Great movie.

I haven't watched it in years, though.

Sequels? I thought there was only one sequel? Yeah the 2nd was not even close to being as good as the 1st. My dad was the one who got me into that. He told me he saw it the day his Great Aunt died. Everyone in the house was crying except for him and his cousins 'cause they keep laughing at how funny the movie was. Great 80's cult movie.

Haha.... especially bad timing.... lawl. There were two 'official' sequels and one Hong Kong-produced spinoff, I believe.

What's the best 'scary movie' you've watched?

I think he meant it as a horror movie...I'm not a fan of horror movies, but if Signs counts as one, then that's mine...
