What are your favorite movies? What movies were amazing? What movies sucked? New and old, color and b&w, this is the place to discuss ALL movies.

Let me start. I reiciently got my hands on Grand Illusion, an French movie from 1937 that focuses on a group of WWI prisoners trying to escape from a war camp. I've only seen the first half, but so far, it's amazing.

And if you don't care about all that retro artsy stuff, I also just saw National Treasure: Book of Secrets. While everything that happens is simply preposterous, the film was held together by a great cast and funny dialogue. I'd give it a thumbs up.

I give it two thumbs a spitball. A completely unnecessary 30-minute car chase ending with no useful resolution.

I recently saw King Creole, Elvis Presley at his effing best.

Totally true, but it was fun. Stupid fun, like Transformers.

Lion King-sad, great, musical, lions, and more. Truly a work of art.
Disturbia-Hilarious and intense...
MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL!!! Best movie on the planet of all time.
All the Resident Evil movies, but i have to watch them edited! No rated R movies for me.

I recently saw The Eye and One Missed Call...One Missed Call is retarded but The Eye is...unique.

I want to see The Eye. I was lucky enough to catch the original Chinese version on tv (I <3 IFC) when I stayed home sick. It was great.

I saw Fight Club, it's a book adaptation. It's theme is based around a special kind of male anger so women aren't known to enjoy it as much. But great movie, if you ever find the time to watch it.

Y'all need to see Citizen Kane. It was named by the American Film Institue the single best movie of all time. And after watching it, I agree completely.

I just rented Yi Yi, Being John Malkovich, Young Frankenstein, and The Producers. Hopefully I'll find the time to watch them over the long weekend.

Just watched The Producers. Very disappointed, I expected better. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy it (Matthew Brodrick in hysterical mode is HILARIOUS!), it just could've been a lot funnier.

Also: I'm now a RoboCop fan.

The Producers: 6/10
RoboCop: 9/10
RoboCop 2: 6/10
RoboCop 3: Doesn't deserve to be rated.

Oh yeah, just let it be known, I worship the ground that Joss Whedon and Wes Anderson walk on. Everytime I write anything, I compare it to their works, and then re-write. And re-write.
