I have no idea what's happening. I think it's going to be a new Godzilla movie. What do you guys think?

I can't see it but I friend told me about the trailer It definetly is Godzilla's roar is at the end isn't it

Well it isn't the oringila japanese Godzilla his roar is much different

The roar seemed a little mecanical to me. That says something to me, although it just as well my not be Godzilla. The guy who's making this also made Lost, so for all we know, the monster could be a fucking polar bear! XD

For one thing, the next Godzilla film is being released in 2009 in Japan and is supposed to be 3-D. Secondly, Cloverfield is not the actual title of the film, the title is a secret. Thirdly, if America is trying for another Godzilla film, it probably won't be that good. Even though it's from the genius behind Lost.

Oh dear god. I've obsessed so much over this and lost many nights of sleep due to research. Well, judging just from that trailer, you can tell it has to have something to do with giant bein(s). There's even been speculation of a Chrono Trigger re-make (No matter how awesome that would be, it's just not possible). The main speculation, however, is around some sort of monster movie. It's rumoured that this is going to be a Godzilla-esque film, but american-ized (basically the american equivilent of Godzilla).

The problem with the trailer, however, is that there's almost no evidence in it at all. Why? Because the whole first part of the trailer has nothing to do with the movie, and only the last half is something relevant, but even that is pretty much bullsh!t. I mean, how much can you gather from a giant explosion and a person being thrown into the statue of liberty? Not much, I assure you.

According from what I, myself, have gathered from 1-18-08 is that the events of this movie all take place within exactly one hour (this can been seen at the bottom right corner of every photo).

There's also been speculation of ANOTHER website, but I have to go find that one as i'm currently trying to multi-task.

The reason they didn't show much is because it's a teaser, like the first trailer for Transformers, all they showed was an eye. If this turns out to be a Chrono Trigger movie, I will shoot myself. It sounds like it's going to be a Godzilla movie, because it's a monster movie and Godzilla is the most famous of all monsters. Honestly, we just don't know enough to draw any kind of conclusion.
